Dear President, 

On behalf of the Eventing Committee and the Eventing rules sub-committee, we wish to thanks the Federations for their feedback and comments made on these rules, which have been very helpful and constructive. 

The updated document of the 2006 Rules for Eventing revision will be presented to the FEI Bureau for approval in the meeting beginning December 2005. 

Attached please find this document (divided up by chapter – and only modified annexes have been included) which include clarifications and comments received from the National Federations. Due to the number of comments received, we will not be able to answer each Federation back individually.  Please note that only the requests for clarification have been included and all new proposals of changes have been postponed for the next revision. 

The final version of the rules will be available mid-December on the FEI Web-site, after the approval of the Bureau.
